My Story
I was raised in a backpacking camp by two parents who loved the mountains, where we guided young people through the wilderness and climbed 14,000-foot peaks. Those experiences taught me resilience early in life—learning that when your body is exhausted and your mind wants to quit, there is often another level waiting on the other side. That understanding shaped my passion for helping people reconnect with their strength physically, mentally, and emotionally. I went on to study Exercise Physiology and Corporate Wellness before spending more than 30 years combining personal training and massage therapy to help people heal, recover, and reconnect with their bodies.
Life eventually brought me into my own healing journey. During a season marked by physical pain, personal loss, and major life transitions, I discovered meditation and breathwork. Over the next 13 years, I immersed myself in breathwork, mindfulness, trauma-informed healing, nervous system regulation, and the work of Gabor Maté, developing a deeper understanding of the connection between the body, mind, emotions, and subconscious patterns.
When I experienced 9D Breathwork for the first time, everything came together. It felt like the integration of everything I had studied, experienced, and believed in throughout my life. 9D Breathwork combines breath, immersive sound, subconscious repatterning, and nervous system regulation into one transformational experience designed to help people move beyond survival mode, release what has been holding them back, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level. Watching others experience those shifts and realize they are capable of more than they thought possible is what continues to inspire this work.
Along this journey, three of my greatest teachers have also been my adult children — Tanner, Callie, and Hudson. Each of them has shaped my heart in profound ways, teaching me about love, resilience, humility, growth, and the beauty of becoming. I am endlessly appreciative and grateful for the souls they are and for the ways they’ve walked beside me through every season of life. Being their mother has been one of the deepest honors and greatest gifts of my journey, and they continue to inspire me both personally and in the work I now share with others.
